Bishops’ Summer College of Preaching

The Skopos Bishops’ Summer College of Preaching equips Anglican clergy and ministry leaders in exegetical preaching—rooted in Scripture, faithful in doctrine, vibrant in delivery.

The 2026 session offers funded seats for seven scholars. These Fellows participate in intensive study and preaching labs under the mentorship of leading Anglican theologians.

Application Form
  • The College is designed to raise up men to fill the pulpits of parishes.

    Men who are currently preaching or in the process of ordination are encouraged to apply.

    SKOPOS works across dioceses and ecclesial contexts. The Bishops’ Summer College of Preaching is open to demonstrably gifted preachers, even where an applicant is not yet Anglican or not yet formally licensed.

  • The College provides meals and lodging.

    Travel is not funded. Participants should plan to cover their own travel.

  • Each participant will be assigned a mentor and will meet regularly (monthly) over the course of one year, online or by phone, for continued formation and preaching development. Applicants commit to engage seriously in this process.

  • We use a rolling review process, with responses sent as decisions are made. Submitted materials are reviewed carefully and prayerfully.
